At approximately 80 over kilometres to its south is Kenya’s capital Nairobi. Mount Kenya National Park is also nearby, and the farm benefits from the fertile volcanic soil from the Aberdare mountain range.

Muranga’s average altitude is at 1,298 metres and above. Its average rainfall is 1,200mm to 1,600mm, and has stable environmental conditions allowing for 2 harvesting seasons per year. Coffee farming is the main economic activity of the locals, and the local county government has been consistently providing financial assistance with regards to improving coffee farming-related technology, which greatly improves the quality of coffee produced.
